ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In the city that never sleeps, the blurred background resembles the sense of movement and urgency to get to its destination. Wether the photograph was taken at noon or at midnight; at all times of the day and night, the taxi's are always in motion, people always going somewhere.

MAXIMILLIAN HUNTER HELD

Maximillian, born and raised in Long Island New York, in the small town of Syosset. He was always trying new things out of the ordinary and a sort of explorer in his own words. He picked up photography in his sophomore year of high school and always found joy and importance in capturing the moment in a artistic way. Over the years of taking photos he found the need for bringing photos to life through printing so they were not forgotten as time passes.
